All-suite casino resort with an indoor pool, a gym & a restaurant, plus a bar with live DJs.

I love this place. Fantastic rooms at great prices. You get more than you pay for with the hotel suites. The front desk staff is always very friendly. I've stayed here 4 times and every time I do, it's great. The Casino is cool. The food at the hotel and casino is delicious. A bit over priced but it's an all suite hotel and casino so it's to be expected. The pool was great and the kids loved it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to stay at a great place at a great price.

Not our first time there. We've been to most of the casinos within 4 hours of our home. Mazatzal is by far our FAVORITE! Locals are great and the service was as good as it can be with most people not wanting to work and earn an honest living. Employees work hard and with a smile. Food was so awesome and always is consistent. Going back again in a few weeks to have MORE FUN!

I learned that you must carefully read the slot screens!...lol. I sat down to a 1 cent slot and put in my $20 and selected the 40 credit play option. I pushed play and in two plays my 20 bucks was gone! I asked the attendant about that and he showed me how to change the option to play the 1 cent or 5 cent....something only a "well seasoned gambler" would know not a novice like me. The newer games automatically give you denomination option screen, but the older slots are "tricky"....after that "lesson learned" I ended up recouping what I lost. Albeit, I still had fun playing. I didn't like the open smoking tho. I was comfortably playing on a slot and a lady sat down next to me and lit up her cigarette....she ruined my "good chi" so I cashed out and moved. The house keepers did wipe the slots down and I chose to mask up while inside. As with all casinos, it is a "hit or miss"...I hit while going down to PHX and missed on way home...😊/😔🎰💸👎🚬

There will be hound dogs greeting you at the gate. When your loud and playful they will kick you out. Don't upset the security... especially the cross eyed, bearded guy! Not brown but a guy maybe caucasian white man

Well-maintained, popular casino with a nice grill, (great burgers!) and a nice dining room, the Cedar Ridge Restaurant (great steak sandwiches!). I have had private parties catered here, and the service was excellent. A waitress named Molly handled the large groups with efficient ease! The rooms were comfy and clean, recreational gambling on site was fun, with a variety of options to play. The facility is on the outskirts of the town of Payson, where the thrift and antique shoppers can find a variety of fun options, and for outdoorsy folks, the hiking, biking, fishing opportunities are abundant! Don't miss Green Valley Park at the end of Main Street for checking out a nice lake with abundant bird-life and a playground for the kids to burn off some energy. The Zane Gray Museum is an interesting place to visit while at the park, and there as well.

Suites are very comfortable (we spent a lot of time there), the Cedar Ridge Restaurant in the casino had great food, wonderful service and an affordable, wide menu. Only gambled $8.00, but the casino is reasonably sized. The Grille, also in the casino, is a nice little (limited seating) basic hamburger/hotdog/fries/pizza place. Good food, only wish their hours were longer, like for lunch.

Extremely clean rooms. Air filters in every one. We were on the first floor so I smelled smoke from the casino quite a bit but were also in the first room so it's not far away. (This is an accessible room with wheel in shower.) With that exception awesome place, even has a hide-a-bed in the spacious living room area for extra guests. Would definitely recommend this over other other girls I've stayed@ in Payson. Again cannot emphasize how clean this place is.

They say friendliest but definitely the unluckiest casino around not much to do the food is ok but the games are boring especially when it just seems like most are arcade style and the card games just feels like a fast way to watch the chips fly away.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and the prices are extremely reasonable for such great accommodations. The indoor pool is also very nice. The employees where the best part every one throughout the hotel, casino, and restaurant were all so nice. Make sure to become a member with the players club (I think that's what it's called, ask front desk for verification) to get great discounts on rooms.

Accused me and my family of dropping a folded up 5 dollar bill with a "white powdery substance" on the floor, threatened to take us to jail but wouldn't let us see the footage of us dropping anything. This casino is based on a Reservation of 140 people, all the tribal chairman have White and Hispanic names. Seems like a made up tribe to build a casino and illegally make money. If you doubt me DYOR, look it up, sketchy as he'll. Also not 1 Nattive American works there. Odd. Scam casino and if you go, get ready to deal with an inexperienced and young/dumb security staff.

I just came for the casino. I have stayed here once a few years back and the rooms were nice then. I say they still do. Everything else looks the same. The casino was a lil busy at the time I was there. 7pm-9pm on Thursday night. Still not so bad. Just not a real big place compared to others. Nice over look while you are outside if there is daylight when you come.

Didn't stay at the hotel, just had a few lunches and played the machines. Very disappointing compared to other local casinos in AZ. The machines are not maintained - options for bid ranges often didn't work and several of the lower bid machines appeared to be older and in disrepair. Casino helpers didn't seem to know their machines when asked. Not sure if we just had a few bad days but we walked out with empty pockets (lose, lose, lose, etc) and NO winnings, which is not our norm (win some/lose some) over several days. Compared to other casinos in AZ it was a disappointing experience. Too bad. Nice little casino, food was decent, wait staff was attentive.

The rooms are nice other than that I highly recommend you avoid this place. The food at the restaurant is horrible and it took almost an hour to get our food when the restaurant was not that busy. Also gambled quite a bit and when they decide you have had enough drinks evidently they have to kick you off the property regardless of if you did anything wrong or not pretty weird rule especially after you have gambled a significant amount of money and then they decide to tell you to leave what a coincidence. Don't go here save yourself some time and headache they are much nicer casinos in Arizona and they are definitely not arizonas friendliest casino like they claim to be haha

We just stopped in for a bite to eat. The steak sandwich was delicious. My wife had the French dip and it was very good. Just had to wait awhile for the food, but the taste was worth the wait.

We went for the prime rib special they have on Wednesdays. The Cedar Ridge Restaurant was very nice and had a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very professional and really great!Unfortunately, the food was just okay. The prime rib was a really nice, decent size, but lacked in flavor. The Au jus sauce tasted like bullion cubes and if you like having horseradish sauce, you may want to ask for more horseradish on the side. The veggies were good, but the noodles lacked in flavor and the mashed potatoes were like box potatoes. The salad bar was everything you could want for a salad, but only 2 soups to choose from on the soup bar, which we wanted neither one.We will be going to try the Chinese buffet, just to get a better sense of the food they have here to offer!

This is the best place to stay when visiting Rim Country....it's situated right as you enter Payson off the 87, close to everything, so convenient.♠️ If you're into gambling they have all the usual games and tables but the thing that stands out to me is their customer service - from the front desk lead to security to bar staff, I have yet to meet someone who wasn't friendly and attentive.♦️I've stayed at a lot of properties in my life and since the pandemic overall HOSPITALITY went out the window at the large hotel chains...and in most Vegas casinos it left years ago...Not here. I found that refreshing.♣️Definitely recommend even if you aren't into gaming, it's by far the best hotel in town for the best price.♥️The only thing I wish was different was later hours, they close at 10p on weekdays, I think it's later on weekends & I'm a bit of a night owl 🦉. I have stayed winter and summer and always look forward to coming back. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Winner winner steak dinner!!! Stopped in to have dinner and picked up some extra spending money playing the casino. Had a tasty steak dinner with a baked potato and seasoned veggies, DELICIOUS!!! It put me in a good mood that I didn't mind losing at the roulette wheel when Lady Luck switched course, and I hit a nice little win on one of the video machines. Great little spot to visit when in Payson, AZ.

Over all I do really like this casino. They have great food, free soda and coffee. The security, waitresses, cashiers, and bartenders are amazing. Doesn't smell like smoke, you can smoke inside. It is a very clean casino. In the early morning hours they have to change out the cash boxes on the machines, however as a customer when you've waited over an hour to finally get a bonus, the bonuses are few and far between. To be rudely ordered off your machine not permitted to witness your bonus. Is unacceptable, especially because they cannot change the cash box until your bonus stops. I had to stand 30 feet away, I missed the entire bonus while they watched it. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me do to the time of day I was there. There won't be a 4th time. If this happens one more time I won't return. Perhaps if the employees that do this job could have some additional training in their people skills.Without customers there is no need for their job, don't run off the regulars with rudeness. Let them enjoy their bonuses they pay for it after all. There are alot more casinos for us to choose from with employees that treat their patrons with respect.

Came up for the weekend, the room was nice, clean and well maintained. The food at the grill was excellent where we ate the first night and dinner in the Cedar Ridge restaurant was delicious. We had a great time and hope to come back.

I spent less than an hour at this place, I plan to return to get a better Idea of what this place is all about and I will leave a better review. From what I saw, it looks nice, pretty standard as far as casinos go.
