The Pinon Cafe is a charming eatery in Payson, Arizona that transports you to a different world with its rustic decor and cozy atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of Rim Country, this old-school cafe welcomes you with its pine-wrapped walls, antler decorations, and fishing nets adorning the space. The cafe offers a variety of classic diner dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Their homemade biscuits are particularly noteworthy for their generous size.

Finally got to try this place and so glad I did! Was taking my mom back to NM and this type of little diner is exactly her type of place. C☕ffee was very good, Denver omelette was delicious🤤 and my biscuit was fat & fluffy. The home-style potatoes were yummy. Staff was super nice and attentive. Just about everything you need is on the table too. Great way to start the day🌞

30 minute wait, then when we were sat at a booth, waited another 30 minutes to order, there must've been a confusion of who was supposed to serve us, we did get coffee and water...then we had to wait for our bill. It could have been just an off day for this place, it did take waste a lot of our time, but we are very patient and grateful they eventually served us. The potatoes were delicious 😋 The coffee was also very good 👍🏻

Wonderful little treasure. The food was so good!!! All of us really enjoyed it. They even had gluten free dishes, which allowed me to order The Elvis. Oh my stars!!! It was divine.

Friendly staff, easy off-street parking. Cared for restrooms. Came for breakfast. We ordered pancakes and added blueberries. They are large, so a short stack was way more then enough and we split the order. There is no split plate charge. Service was fast and they were fluffy and hot when they arrived. The bottomless cup of coffee was very good.the house speciality is a huge homemade cinnamon roll, which will easily feed three. Way too much for us, but word is that its fabulous. Open until 2pm.

Call me weird. This is how I keep my waffle in between of putting it in my mouth. I always order triple extra crispy (or it’s going back) nothing on top-no syrup, butter, nothing, then I stand it on the side so no sogginess come between us. Not a lot of restaurants could make me happy but this little place in Payson made me happy and was able to enjoy my very 1st waffle in a long time. Their food was great. I also ordered Mexican Omelette with extra crispy country potatoes. Man, they mad everything right. I m very particular with my food and this place delivered top 10! Thank you for making me happy! #wafflestruggles

I had a delicious BLT, and the ladies that were running the place were wonderful. They seemed to know all of the guests and were just really genuine kind people.

Excellent breakfast experience!! Everything was delicious and perfect! The staff was attentive and friendly. Refills are on point. I recommend you stop by and get some delicious breakfast. It’s family friendly and it’s a fun place to stop and see all the cool things inside the restaurant.

Pinon has become our go-to spot for breakfast after hiking. They have the best cinnamon rolls, no lie. Huge, soft, hot, fluffy, not overly frosted, and huge. Yeah, it's that big it needs to be said twice. The staff is friendly, although our last visit last Sunday we had a tall male server who was silent and did not come across as wanting to be waiting table. He was not rude, he simply was well, silent and non-communicative.My buddy said her biscuits and gravy were great. I would not, however, recommend the yogurt parfait. Its description reads "Granola topped with yogurt, berries and bananas." The yogurt was thin, the granola was bland, there was a small piece of banana peel on one of my slices, plus I was expecting different types of berries - what I received was wet, soggy (imagine unfrozen) and limp strawberries. Yuck. But the cinnamon. Heavens to Betsy, that cinnamon roll is worth the drive to Payson.

Stopped after a couple hour mororcycle ride from Phoenix to eat a bite of local treats...and WOW, it was so good!I did the half order of biscuits and gravy, then added the 7 bean soup. Both were the best I have had in some time! Each came out served hot and yummy... and both were homemade as well. You could taste it....This place is one of my new favorites when I travel over to Payson.I will be back for more.Oh, and that Giant cinnamon roll....its to die for. :)

This place is so cute and homey. Our server was Autumn, she was excellent and super friendly! The food was so good, it was mind-blowing. I got the Mogollon Monster and my husband got the Elvis. Both were awesome, and really reasonably priced! If you're like us and you're just passing through, absolutely stop in for some breakfast or lunch, you won't regret it!

Crosswinds Restaurant is a charming diner that offers classic American dishes in a unique setting adorned with airplane decor. Situated at the Payson Airport, diners can enjoy views of the runway while savoring their meals. The restaurant features a full bar with an extensive selection of beers, wines, and spirits, making it an ideal spot for gathering with family or friends before departing or upon arriving in Payson.

Great food, I really love the Reuben and their house-made dressing, but everything I've had here has been fantastic.Great views of planes taking off and landing or parked while you eat, and the interior has model airplanes of every stripe hanging from the ceiling. You could come every week and find some new or interesting detail you missed, or find a new favorite item on the menu.Don't forget to try the orchard pie - it's my favorite!

This place has always been awesome! This is a restaurant that is located right next to the airport and is a place where pilots and passengers can hang out while they wait for their plane to take off. You can actually here codes being called out from the tower while you eat your food! The food is delicious and the service is great. I have never been disappointed while eating here.

Fun local hangout with lots of atmosphere with an aeronautical theme. Great views of the valley and airstrip from the restaurant. Best of all their pie are awesome and world renowned.. be sure to have a slice with breakfast and take a few home with you to share, they won’t last long and you’ll be the hit of the event.

The place may look like nothing from the outside, we had our doubts too, but once we walked in, we were greeted by super friendly staff and locals, it made us immediately fall in love. It's a great place to view the Rims and watch planes take off and land.We had the burger and the BLT, and I will say I will go back and have it again. We bought a whole pie because it was just too delicious to not too.Oh, and if you get the waiter Dave/ David, then you're lucky because he was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

During our recent visit to Crosswinds, a restaurant that has been a staple for 20 years, we had the pleasure of experiencing a unique dining adventure. Located right next to Payson Airport, this restaurant offers a delightful combination of traditional American cuisine and aviation excitement. With planes taking off and landing in close proximity, it's an ideal spot for our little aviation enthusiasts to enjoy a delicious meal. One of the highlights of our visit was the convenience of the Payson Airport. Many customers took advantage of the airport's proximity, flying in from various parts of the Phoenix area to relish a slice of pie before heading back. While the restaurant doesn't have direct flight line access, the ease of going back and forth added an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. The menu was extensive, encompassing both breakfast and lunch options. Another good part? The prices are incredibly affordable and reasonable, making it a great choice for those looking for a budget-friendly dining option. However, we found the food to be somewhat ordinary, and it fell slightly short of our expectations. We ordered dishes such as French toast, veggie omelette with potatoes, and mac and cheese for the kids. While they were satisfying, they didn't quite achieve the level of flavor and creativity that we had hoped for.Despite the slightly disappointing food, the customer service was truly outstanding. Our servers, Codie and Sherry, went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and taken care of. Their attentiveness and helpfulness made us feel right at home, enhancing our overall dining experience. The presence of Payson Airport provided an added element of excitement, especially for the kids. They thoroughly enjoyed watching the planes come and go while dining, making the experience even more memorable and engaging. All in all, the Crosswinds offers a distinctive combination of aviation-themed dining and traditional American fare. While the food itself may be considered ordinary, the excellent customer service and the thrilling backdrop of the nearby airport create a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're a plane enthusiast or simply looking for a friendly dining experience, this is worth a visit.

Fish Friday! Typical diner food. All You Can Eat fish fry was good,.just know that you can get baked potato or mashed potatoes instead of fries (I suggest getting something besides the fries).Peanutbutter Fudge pie was ok but needs at least double the fudge.

We had lunch here on a Sunday over Labor Day weekend. It was busy, but not that busy, even for a holiday weekend. It’s at the local airport in Payson and you can see the planes and landing strip from the restaurant. There are model planes hanging from the ceiling and all over the restaurant so it’s great for kids. The food there is just like my mom would make and it really hit the spot. No frills home cooking is the vibe that I got. Everything was prepared well and tasted good, and came out fast. The chili was flavorful and had big pieces of jalapeños in it, which was delicious. It was just what I was hoping for. The burger was tasty, fries were crispy, onion rings were hot and crispy too. They’ve got really good ranch dressing here…I don’t know why, but this is an important thing for us…if a place has good ranch they get extra points. They do have whole pies and big cookies for sale as well. We tried the cookies and loved them. Crispy edges, slightly chewy and then soft in the middle. So good! The service was amazing! They were really taking care of us and so friendly. There’s a dog friendly outdoor seating area as well. Very cool! We will definitely eat here again.

So glad we finally stopped here today for lunch! I have always loved the often overlooked local airport restaurant charm and crosswinds did not disappoint! Highly recommend the French dip. Generous portion of meat and grilled onions and mushrooms. The onion rings were perfectly battered and fried. For some pies to go and the are ohh soooo heavenly. Will be back for breakfast-served all day.

What a treasure we found in Payson AZ with our friends! The breakfast was delicious, the personnel, delightful and the atmosphere was comfortable! We will definitely return another day.

We recently stopped at this unique airport cafe for lunch on our way to Pine, and I must say, it was an interesting experience. The place was packed which says a lot. The staff was friendly and accommodating, promptly seating us upon arrival. The cafe is decorated with airplane items, giving it a distinct and charming atmosphere. Our grandkids talked about the decor most of our stay.A highlight of our visit was witnessing a military helicopter fly in, which our grandkids found quite fascinating. When it came to the food, however, I have mixed feelings. While it wasn't necessarily bad, it fell into the realm of mediocrity. We wondered if the cafe might be better known for their breakfast options which is served all day.I had the BLT chicken salad and was a bit disappointed by the bacon. It didn't taste like “real” bacon, which was a letdown. On the other hand, my granddaughter enjoyed her spaghetti, which was loaded with goodies compared to the typical noodles and sauce found on most kids' menus. But the garlic bread that came with it was… awful. I even had a bite and agreed that it was awful. My hubby had the Open Face Hot Roast Beef Sandwich which he said was good. Our grandson had the chicken strips which was nothing special but he ate all the chicken but left the fries and didn’t want to take them with us.Despite the underwhelming food, I would consider visiting this cafe again, mainly for its charming atmosphere and friendly service. If you're an aviation enthusiast or simply appreciate quirky decor, this place will definitely appeal to you. Maybe we will come back and try the breakfast foods.

Tinys Family Restaurant and Lounge is a casual eatery in Payson that specializes in classic American dishes like meatloaf and pancakes. This local favorite is known for its unpretentious atmosphere and delicious food. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by Tinys for a taste of their top-notch American cuisine. In addition to their signature dishes, they also offer an Italian experience with spaghetti and meatballs.

This is an informal, family restaurant. Don't expect fine dining, but the food isn't bad at all. The corn beef and cabbage was excellent, but only available on St. Patrick's day. The burger was perfect. The omelette was closer to scrambled eggs but delicious nonetheless, accompanied by potatoes that were not too salty. Of all items I was most impressed by the pancake that had an ideal fluffiness and taste to it. The french toast with blueberry sauce and crisp bacon comes highly recommended.Outside of breakfast, Taco Tuesday is recommended.

Just moved to Payson and I had been wanting to try some of the local restaurants here. Tiny's did not disappoint. I had the sirloin steak and the hubby had the meatloaf. Each of the dinners come with homemade soup, salad, choice of potato, vegetable, entree, and dessert. All of the meals seem to be very reasonably priced. The food was very good and when it was time for dessert we both chose the bread pudding. Best bread pudding we had ever had. Needless to say Tiny's family restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Rachelle Dewey — Google review

Service and such was fine but we were very disappointed with the food. I had a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. The gravy was made with a Rue which had far too much flour in it and was not cooked enough. The result was a very thick, pasty gravy that was unpleasant to eat as it tasted of flour. I ate half and brought the rest home for my dog. My partner had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were homemade and pretty good. Her pasta was ok, but the sauce had an unpleasant taste to it. Overall the food was a failure and we won't be back. Sad.

Great food. Great service. My only complaint voices tend to carry and it can get very loud. But the food makes up for it. Fresh and delicious.

Great food! The patty melt I had was delicious with 2 different cheeses melted in and perfect amount of onions and my brother had the chicken fried steak breakfast and he said it was very delicious! Full of flavor! Worth a return trip!👍👍👍👍👍

We had a party of 10 and everything was amazing. The waitress was so organized and timely, it was the best service I've had in a long time and that says a lot with a big party. Everyone enjoyed their food! We had the beer battered cod and the fish was quality, breaded perfectly and so much food for the money. My kids had the pancakes and they were huge and fluffy. You get soup, salad, entree and dessert for $10-12. We were really impressed. I haven't been here since before the fire and they did a good job of remodeling. Huge place, I can't believe they are not busier. Great hidden gem!

Solid American diner fare. Nothing stood out as amazing, but it was classic diner food.We had a huge party -25 or so after church. They set us up in a banquet room. Our server (owner's son?) handled our crowd like a boss. He, and the cook staff got food out quickly. Total boss.I loved the Veteran themes in the banquet hall, especially the 'missing man' table. I haven't seen that in a while. It's not fusion, flashy or extra DDD-styled, just real home food at good prices. Sounds like a great place to eat. French dip was good.

We found this restaurant just looking for a place to eat while day tripping and driving back through payson. They had rainbow trout on the menu so we both chose that. Dinner comes with everything veggies, Potatoes, salad and dessert . The trout was great. Everything had a homemade taste just like my mama made it. It was delicious. The rice pudding and bread pudding are yummy. Great price too basically less than most hamburger places in Phoenix for 2 full course trout dinners. Waitress was friendly and great service.

We visited Tony’s this past weekend. 2nd of July. Nice variety on the menu!! 😁We ordered the open face steak meal with fries and a salad. Shared. I was surprised the steak on the toast wasn’t sliced and didn’t have gravy as I expected it to when I read “open faced”. Anywhere else open faced has gravy 🤔 The salads everywhere we go lately have some icky pieces in them. Cucumber tasted bitter (Brown and mushy). The fries were delicious. The restaurant needs new carpet or get rid of it completely. It’s filthy. See pictures. Bathroom seems like it could use a new ac filter. Very dusty in the ladies room. I would clean the stall walls regularly with a Swiffer/bleach mop. Young man was a little too attentive after we got our meal. Asked 3 times if all was well, even after we said yes.

$21 salad with a 4oz piece of salmon.I was debating between Fargos and Tiny’s. I definitely made the wrong decision. There was only one poor waitress running her butt off. After paying for the salad I ordered for carry out 20 mins prior, I then waited for another 20 mins for them to bring it out. The salon by then was starting to harden. It clearly had been sitting there for the 20 extra minutes.Very disappointed for $21. Would not recommend.Fork included in the picture for comparison.

Brought extra napkins without having to be asked, she also brought us a pitcher of iced tea,so refills easy.4 stars because the tea water tasted like coffee and was not very hot.Blessings, John

First time visit. Newly reopened after the fire. The restaurant is attractive and a light dinner for two was $20. The Lounge is separate from the dining area, which is a good thing as the sound of conversation gets loud, and it carries from table to table. There is a separate area for meetings. Dine-In, Take-Out, and Delivery are available.I ordered an Hawaiian Omelet with hash browns. It was supposed to come with toast, but the server forgot entirely until I asked, and by then, half my omelet was gone. The omelet was good but not exceptional, and it was not served hot. The server seemed distracted, but she said it was her first week. That's why the lower rating. The restaurant was half empty, and there were just two servers until senior management stepped in to help as it filled up. Ask for a table. The booth seats are sunken from use.Very clean and nicely decorated restrooms, which were well stocked. Ample off-street parking in a large lot shared by an office mall.Tiny's is open at 6AM for breakfast, which is served all day, lunch, and dinner until 9PM, seven days a week. Homemade pies, too.First time for breakfast. We waited for what seemed like a long time. The waitress apologized, saying she thought someone else was helping us. The food was good.

Celeste Ruppelt — Google review

Tiny's is a very solid 3 of 5. Good coffee and hot cocoa. Beef and barley soup had very soft ingredients and an odd flavor I couldn't place but was edible (myself and my three family members didn't eat it). Steak was bland but cooked well. Waitress was nice and helpfull but too busy to adequately help us. Atmosphere is dated with a strange mix of decor. Will not be returning for dinner, but may try breakfast here sometime. Mediocre but passable dining experience.

Not sure how I've never left a review for Duzas but likely as I always forget to take a photo when the food arrives as we are busy devouring in blissful joy. I've ordered a lot of items on the menu but my favorite is breakfast. Order the hazelnut late-you won't be disappointed-best coffee overall and so much better than the trend companies out there. We stumbled on to this Gem by accident and boy are we thankful we did, or should I say our tummy's were 💗 you will not be disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was very warm and welcoming. We also had the privilege of meeting the owner. After talking with her for a few minutes, we had a better understanding of why the food was so delicious. She puts her heart into everything she does. She also shared with us, that all her ingredients are from local and family owned business. You must stop by and PS doggy friendly

Way BEYOND expectations for a small causal looking restaurant. The look inside is artistic. The buildings previous life was an art studio and you can still feel it. It’s small but well arranged for seating. The little niches are perfect for a intimate meal. The menu is just copy paper but the food is edible gold. Super impressed with the presentation and flavor. We had the hash, the salmon toast and the French toast. All three were so good! Our dog even had a doggie dish. They have a pet menu! We sat on the patio w our dog and enjoyed the weather and a wonderful meal. The local art was on display outside and we were sheltered from the rain. They had a dog water bowl and loved treats and dog bone treats set out. The owner Victoria was present and engaging and made sure we were enjoying the meal and satisfied. We looked around the inside and wow! I love this place. Next time I’m eating inside. The kitchen was open. They have a dance French pasty area and a coffee bar. The bathroom was cool I had to take a video. This is a must for any visit to Payson. Be patient as all good is cooked to order and served by a very intimate staff. 10 stars if it was available.toast

After the market, stopped by this local gem (that use to be someone's house) for brunch. I got the Shepherd's Biscuit topped with bacon, brisket, Italian sausage, avocado, ricotta and eggs over medium. Our server, Brandon, recommended the pear mimosa - first time trying that pearing (pairing lol), delicious 😋!! Cute lil spot to check out while you are in the area, can't wait to come back!! The owner is the chef and comes out to check on patrons as time allows.

Such a cute little place with absolutely delicious food! We found this place here on Google maps and decided to try it out. We are so glad we did! The outside looks like a charming little house, with a nice little patio. The inside is very cozy and very cute as well(sorry I keep using the word cute but it’s how I feel about looks). The staff was very professional and friendly. When our food came it looked beautiful and very appetizing. I had the Shepherd’s Biscuit and it was absolutely delicious! The “biscuit” wasn’t a typical biscuit but it was so good, like homemade. My husband got the House Hash dish and he loved it! He ate every bite and enjoyed it all. When we were done we went to the spot where they have baked goods for sale, we got a couple of cinnamon rolls, a cherry turnover and an apple turnover. We all loved those baked goods as well. We live in the valley but we will definitely return here again!

The food as always on pointe here! Therefore you might have a small to medium wait. But I would wager to say it’s worth it! So far 2-4 trips between differ family members and no one has ever been let down! Yum yum yum! Plus dog friendly patio!

This is a little gem in Payson. The menu was very unique but such food combinations. The food was amazing and filled us up. All 3 of my kids ate all there food which says soooo much cause we also have leftovers anywhere we go. Plates were even scraped clean it was that delicious. Worth the wait if they have a line.

Absolutely awesome little family owned restaurant with unique and delicious food. We were eating here 2 days in a row. Everyone ( group of 8) was satisfied with the food and friendly staff. Will definitely return and recommend.

Suzy — Google review

Grandma's decor, haute cuisine combinations, and big city prices. My only recommendation to the owners is to get rid of the split charge. My wife and I like to share entrees but the split charge is a disincentive to eat here.

My new favorite breakfast/brunch place in Payson! This place is a little off the beaten path in an old house with lots of character. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food presentation was great and very tasty! We would definitely go back when in the area.

As many times as my family and I have been to Payson this is our first time here. When others have said best breakfast 🍳 I couldn’t agree more. The portions were perfect, the flavor was truly homemade. My wife had the 6 oz New York steak 🥩 which was flavorful and cooked to perfection (medium well). Now I know why they have stayed in business for well over 50 years. Will definitely go back but for lunch next time and try the hamburger 🍔.

Daniel Valadez — Google review

Only 4 stars because of how crowded it is there. BUT, that is due to the great food. I had breakfast. First time EVER in my life that my eggs were cooked medium. Exactly how I like them. Pancakes and bacon, perfect. Next time in Payson to eat, I would be happy to eat there again. Our group enjoyed their food as well.

On our way home, we stopped at the beeline Cafe. Home style cooking. We were only looking for a lite lunch. Husband had the soup and 1/2 tuna salad. Soup was a sausage gumbo. He said everything tasted amazing. I had the chef salad and it was large and very good also. The others around us had hamburgers and they looked and smelled good also. And they were preparing a pot roast for after 4.pm. and did I mention they have homemade pies also. We will be sure and remember this place for other trips.

This is a gem! The breakfast was perfect. We got the huevos rancheros, mini breakfast and a short stack of blueberry pancakes. Everything came out as requested and the taste was spot on.Then we decided to try the homemade blackberry pie.... OMG!!!!We will be back for sure!

I love coming hereThey have amazing food.Strong and very calm cooksIt gets busy, however the wait is worth it. Because even though its busy most cooks ruin what they are cooking because of stress.I know I have worked in this field for many years so I watch..everything. Those cooks are two of the best I have ever seen. Regardless of how packed it is or orders are full. Their food is always spot on. Even on the holidays Wich today is Easter weekend. In fact every restaurant in the Payson area was closed. This weekend there was a lot of people coming into town. They serviced every customer with a perfect smile. These guys are worth their wait in gold. Now the staff .just as amazing. Bobby ,perfect server, so attentive and pure hearted..very skilled. Also they know locals .they all care, each and everyone of them. Not to mention they have the pretties waitresses in town. This is a stop all will feel so at home..Keep up the amazing service.

Beeline Cafe, where to start? My fiancée and I stopped in here on a day trip up to Payson. The Cafe is cozy with friendly, kind, and accurate service. I ordered an egg omelet with ham, green chili's, and cheese which was cooked perfectly. I also ordered a cinnamon roll that honestly gave me some sticker shock "$6.00 for a cinnamon roll?" I thought. I was completely understanding and pleasantly surprised of the cost once they brought the food out though. The cinnamon roll was not some measly Pillsbury pop in the oven, bake, remove and lather on icing type. This bad boy was the size of a small dinner plate, served in a bowl (see pictures) with what tasted like made from scratch cream cheese/cinnamon icing that included whole pecans. It was delicious! If you live in or around Payson, or just driving through and have the chance to stop by, I recommend you do!

Kristen Grosland — Google review

A quaint, charming family operated restaurant in Payson. This restaurant has the feeling of a local diner, with historical significance to the area. Diana was attentive and patient with my indecisiveness, as I eventually selected the Mushroom and Swiss omelette. The potatoes were pleasantly garnished with sauteed peppers and onion. I recommend trying the omelette with the potatoes included inside it. This place is so inviting I find myself returning. The price was not extravagant and the overall environment was friendly and tranquil. Service from Ricky, Kendra, and all staff at this location is excellent. Recommended

1st time here after passing by many many times. Amazing food!!!!! So good. I also bought a beautiful little necklace. Will stop by again one day soon. Now that we found this lovely spot, can't wait to try more food 😊

Juliet Begay — Google review

Food presentation was good and staff was very friendly but the food not so great. The taste reminded me something from a school cafeteria. The bacon was rubbery, pancakes were crumbly and didn’t have a very good flavor and the wheat toast tasted like dollar store bread. The place was also pretty small and grungy. I wouldn’t go back but unfortunately we are running out of options of places to eat when we visit Payson lakes.

Ms. Ma’am Garcia — Google review

Great customer service and food. Try the granola pancake with blueberries. I had chicken fried chicken and eggs and subbed the toast for biscuits and gravy. I couldn't quite finish the biscuits, but it was good fuel for a 10-mile hike up to the top of the rim.

I officially have a new favorite breakfast dining restaurant in Payson. We stopped at Beeline Cafe for breakfast and were we pleasantly surprised! The food was absolutely delicious. We were seated right away. Server was prompt and very friendly. Our order was out before we knew it. I had eggs, sausage, and some biscuits & gravy. Wow, it was so incredibly yummy. Cooked to perfection. Portions were very generous. Place was the "mom & pop" feel to it, which is something we both like. Note worthy item, cash only. There is an ATM on site, so don't let that stop you from eating here. Can't wait to visit again.

Rene Aguilera — Google review

We were back at the Payson Beeline Cafe for breakfast after a year away. The service was meadyoker at best. Had to ask for more coffee ☕️ and later for a glass of water. My wife and I agreed the food had gone downhill. We probably won't go back for a while. I'll check the reviews in about 6 months.

Denny's is a popular casual dining chain known for serving classic American comfort food, with a focus on all-day breakfast options. Customers have praised the attentive and friendly service provided by staff members like Brad and Damon, who go out of their way to ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant is described as family-friendly, with servers showing special attention to children and being accommodating to their needs. The food is also highlighted as delicious and served hot.

Lori from the night shift was a great waitress with a very positive & funny attitude. Made us feel comfortable and was not pushy to get an order. Food was great and place was clean.

Ask for extra extra crispy hash browns. Did not get extra crispy hash browns. Only came back once to see if I needed coffee.

We visited early in the morning with two toddlers. We were seated immediately and our server Brad already had our drink order and brought them out almost immediately. He checked on us several times, helped with making sure the kids had a snack while waiting for breakfast, and made sure we got everything we ordered. He was very friendly and down to earth and we loved how talkative he was! He paid special attention to our oldest who is still wary of strangers but learning how to be polite. Brad made him feel comfortable and was very kind to him. Overall some of the best service from a Denny's we've had in years.

Thought I had been at the worst Denny's but this place is the king. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 eggs, bacon and toast After 45 minutes still nothing and wanted to see manager. Turns out the manager was the only cook plus 1 server, was two booths down gabbing with someone she knew. The host was doing the best he could but more people were arriving so I asked for the check. He comped the coffee and we left after 1 hr and 15 minutes. This place is doomed!!!.

The restaurant was very clean and the food came out very quick. We had Brad as our server and he was PHENOMENAL. We need more people in the restaurant industry like him. The rest of staff was friendly and attentive.

The waiter seem like he had a lot on his mind because he could not remember simple tasks such as bring more coffee or we ordered over easy eggs not once not twice but three also ordered two orders of biscuits and gravy and never receive them until the end of of the meal. The food was cold and bland. It's usually not like this must have been an off night.

MAN THIS SERVICE WAS (and I’m not joking) THE GREATEST IVE EVER HAD AND ITS ALL DUE TO ONE LEGENDARY MAN “Damon” when I say that this man’s ability to create a amazing dining experience and the best and most enjoyable customer to waiter experience you can get is 116/10. This guy was the only waiter on shift at 7:00pm and I’m telling you his ability to multi task while making decent conversation and letting you know what’s going on with your meal is ASTRONOMICALLY Stunning. Give him a raise a bonus and make him manager is what I say. (This is not even a joke I am a man on a road trip who isn’t from payson and when I say what I say I mean it with every fiber of my being. Thank you and thank Damon.

Charles Alamir — Google review

Stopped here while passing through and would definitely recommend. Our server Damon had said it was the best Denny’s in Arizona and I can agree out of the ones we visited on our trip. Our drinks were always topped up, the food was the best burger and sandwiches we got the whole trip and it was so much food that we couldn’t finish. Damon was very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable to us and to other customers around us. Very nice character.

I come in here to read my Bible and study since I arrived to Payson September. I love everybody here. From Augi, the cook to all my server people's April, Amber, Lizzie McGuire (😘) Matt Damon (😅), Bradley Cooper (😋), Burt, Kennedy Bratface (💗), and manager Kenny. McDonald's is a well-established, popular fast-food chain renowned for its delicious burgers and fries. Although the establishment was relatively tidy, it would greatly benefit from regular inspections of the dining area to ensure there are no dirty tables. It seemed that nobody took the time to quickly assess the cleanliness, leaving customers unable to sit freely wherever they desired. This inconvenience affected at least six or seven tables, preventing families from allowing their grandchildren to occupy those spots.

After a long hike it Colby not have tasted better. But prices have really gone up. A 2 cheeseburger meal with shake $13 also there is nothing else open in payson that i had seen

Mike Kimbrue — Google review

Open for business at 7am. Lobby is now open as well. Nice people working here. I saw the help wanted sign, amazing to think this wage at McDonald's.

Traveling Man — Google review

There was a bug in the bread of our burger. So we ended up not eating the rest of our food.

Merithza Villeda — Google review

While the place was somewhat clean, they need to have someone every 1/2 hour just look over the lobby for any dirty tables. While I was there NOBODY came to just do a fast scan over the place so customers could sit where they please, not where it's clean. There was at least 6 to7 tables that stopped me from letting my grandbabies sit at them. A little more attention to the lobby is the key for customers to FEEL comfortable sitting there and eating in the lobby. That's what will bring them in. When they see customers relaxed and enjoying their visit more will come and relax there too.

I paid almost $75.00 for food that seemed as though it was kept warm under a heat lamp. Yucky! I usually love McDonald's, especially their fries, but not this time. 😞 Although I do have to admit that their shakes were good!

Rc Veith — Google review

Very clean store. Fresh burgers and hot fries, which is usually a hit or miss at McDonald’s. You can tell this store runs a little differently, if we are through here again I’ll keep this one in mind to stop at again for sure!

Brandi Oldaker — Google review

The interior design is great, I'll give them that. However, as I was ordering, I would ask for a medium drink and right in front of me, she would put in a large. I repeated I wanted a medium, and she completely ignored me. I also asked for a chicken nugget kids meal and she ended up giving me a sad looking cheeseburger. And no toy or fries. Plus, all the food tasted old... like it was left out for a while. The bread was stale, the patties were cold... it was ridiculous. Horrible experience. Don't stop by here until they get themselves together.

C Zamora — Google review

Management sucks at least the slim African American woman does! No patience, no management skills, no manners. Did I mention how rude and illusive she is? Telephone stays off the hook. I'm sure that is because of the many complaints. She sends teenage workers to face unhappy customers instead of dealing with them herself.

If I could not even put a star as a rating..I wouldn't. Driving from 3 hours away my kids are STARVING!! not too busy inside although getting one chicken sandwich a strawberry smoothie and happy meal .,..TOOK 30 MINUTES. I addressed the manager and he looked at me like I was crazy.. after looking at the late ticket time, I said "it's been 32 minutes for 3 items" his response was okay 👍. I have never felt so disrespected with how they handled it. I don't personally order McDonald's for myself.. it was just for my children. By this time my 3 and 7 year old is crying that after all that waiting. They still were sent home with no meal. Unacceptable.

Can only rate service as we did not order food and used the drive through.I was driving back from the valley when my passenger, an older woman going through chemotherapy, asked me stop at Starbucks in Payson. She was in a confused state of mind and ordered the wrong coffee beverage which she realized when the order was picked up at the window. She became very upset and the barista, Morgan, asked her to describe the beverage she wanted. Morgan was extremely pleasant and said would re-make the order for free! No hassle. No problem.Great service and attitude by Morgan!!!!!!

This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced at a Starbucks. We waited 15 minutes for egg bites and a wrap, no drinks in our order. When I asked for our order there was no acknowledgment of the issue or apology. While waiting another 5 minutes for them to actually cook our food I made the mistake of asking for my water to be refilled by Madi while she was already making someones water order. At first she stated to give her a minute. She walked away, makes a few more drinks and I’m still standing there getting ignored by several other employees. The food gets thrown on the counter and I ask again for water and she gets an attitude and starts telling me how busy she is. I told her that’s fine but we have already been waiting over 15 minutes. She continues with the attitude and complaining how busy she is and she will get to it when she can. She then snatches my water and doesn’t fill it up all the way. I hand it back and told her she could go ahead and fill it all the way up. She responds with “ask nicely” and I responded that she should do the job right the first time. “Zee” then joins in harassing me for ‘being rude to Madi over water.’ I explained it wasn’t just about the water and she should not get involved. I asked for both of their names. We sit down and start eating. When I pick up my phone “Zee” yells over the counter “how is that review coming?” I got up asked for the manager and I heard Zee start cussing and her and the other employees laughing/snickering at us. The manager Angel came over and told me she already asked them both to stop but they weren’t listening to her. But she was going to tell them again to stop. I couldn’t even finish my food this was so upsetting. I told her I will be contacting the store manager as well though I doubt it will do any good since these snotty girls wouldn’t even listen to the manager on duty.

David Hardinger — Google review

Usually a great experience… however I went in there on 9-28-23. My sister and I ordered drinks (same ticket) her drink came out almost immediately. After waiting about 15 minutes, we asked why my drink still wasn’t out. It went downhill from there. The barista, sarcastically explained that she was the only one making drinks ( there were 2 other people working) and she was doing the best she could. I would have been okay with her answer if it wasn’t for the sarcasm. My sister did react badly and I told her to leave, so I could wait for my drink. As soon as she left, the barista said that because of that she was going to do all of the drive through drinks before mine. I did wait and eventually got my drink, but the sarcasm was unnecessary. I am by no means excusing my sisters behavior. The customer is not always right, but the customer service was not excusable either. If I go back, I am hoping for a whole different experience.

The quality of the food is consistently excellent, with particular praise given to the tacos that surpass those found in other branches of the restaurant.

My wife and I have been stopping here either on my way up or back down from visiting my mom in show low for years. This is the most professional friendly jack in the box I've ever visited. I always feel welcome coming here. The food is always perfect. Keep up the great business. 👍An update: Just yesterday we stopped and bought tacos and a drink. I swear these tacos taste better than the other jack in the box's. All of their food is always prepared perfectly. It doesn't matter what time of day we stop here and order or if its walk in or drive thru the service is always perfect. I feel this sets the example of the way all the other stores should operate.

We don't have these in Florida, unfortunately. They have a lot of variety for a fast food joint, too.The shakes are very thick and tasty. We had a Sourdough burger, a double cheeseburger, and seasoned curly fries. Our 20's daughter loves the egg rolls. The Payson location is super clean (including bathrooms). The staff was professional, quick and well versed on the contents of the different choices.A++

Quick place to feed the family while in Payson. They did miss a something on our order. But they corrected it right away. Fresh fries. I recommend they fix the plumbing in the ladies room. The faucets were not turning off, water was running the whole time. I told the front attendant she didn't seem concerned with water waste. Thats why I rated it lower.

Jack in the Box is Jack in the Box, but I just had the greatest experience at the drive thru. Tanya was the crew member at the window and she was great! She had condiments ready for everything we ordered and even suggested a new delicious condiment, creamy avocado sauce for our tiny tacos. The food was cooked well and hot and fresh. On top of that she was so friendly and pleasant my wife and I were kind of shocked, but in a good way. Thank you for the outstanding service and food - this is an A+ Jack in the Box!

The guy in front was being so hard to order from he remind me of Beavis and Butthead every time I asked him a question he would just go aww want a coffee they said coffee is cold we get no business don't coffee makers keep them warm?? Added pickles to my burger they forget them so once I go up to get them they literally only give me one single pickle my family member her pickle was demolished from the inside she threw them away☠ only thing positive was the restrooms were spotless

moco li1 — Google review

Food was good, service was friendly, unfortunately they prioritize drive-thru. So if there's 13 cars in drive through and your second in line inside lobby, you'll wait till that 13th car gets served before you get to get service

David Jennings — Google review

These burgers were made like the picture on the menu. Good job JIB They were good as well. Probably the best I've had from a drive thru....

Jeffrey Tuggay — Google review

They were slow (20min wait) and they stopped making my order from the app since they were behind (so another 20 min). Really frustrating and put a huge time dent in our road trip! We've been stopping here for years as an in-between when traveling to see family but after today's experience, we'll never come back to this location.

Monty Ashton — Google review

We had to eat in the dark it was 8:15 and guy said the lobby closed at 8:25 so they could not turn lobby lights on the sign on the door said 9 pm lobby closed they locked the door at 8:25 while we were still inside felt rushed

It's hard to find good help. Hang on to Sydney. We had an issue with our order. She stepped right up and took care of us every step of the way. Excellent service. Yummy food. Thank you Sydney for making our experience excellent.

Yesterday morning I had the worst service at this location, when I approached the counter to ask for service ( a bag) the employee ( big lady with pink lipstickshe looked at me so I asked if I could please get a bag, she rudley responded to her co worker can you come help your sister out, because im not.Which I was confused, I realized she was being racist,When I approached the manger ( which is mexican) to complain about the service she yelled out that's what these people do is complain. The manager was absolutely amazing.

Elizabeth Salvatierra — Google review

I go here at least 3 days a week and I don't know what's going on in the last month but service is horrible. Online orders will let driver get there and then cancel and give me no reason. Food quality has been horrible. Your moto is you don't make it till you order it but last 6 times my tacos I had to throw away they were so old. It ridiculous how much money I spend to just throw food away. Ridiculous!

Juan Galvan — Google review

We don't know what has happened at this location lately (2023) but we have recently learned that management and/or employees have quit. Recent Google reviews show a great crew and we have felt the same. We absolutely loved most of the employees. They were all very courteous and would treat you as if you were family or close friends. They rarely got our order wrong and fixed it quickly in those rare instances. We were very sad to hear that they felt the need to quit or were let go for whatever reason. We will miss them greatly and hope that the new crew can measure up. We guess that now another store gets to benefit from their great personalities and customer care. Somebody messed up here and we can only hope that lessons were learned. It's not often that you find so many great people in a crew(s) in fast food.

This establishment is a beloved gluten-free eatery. It is renowned for being friendly towards individuals with Celiac disease and providing trustworthy options that are free of gluten. The restaurant takes the dietary needs of its customers seriously, implementing proper protocols to ensure their safety. The cuisine itself is of exceptional quality, and the menu offers a wide range of delectable choices suitable for all patrons. The owners and staff receive high praise for their dedication to running this establishment flawlessly. A must-visit spot indeed!

This place is genuinely my favorite gluten free restaurant. First off, Celiac disease friendly 100% trustworthy here. Gluten free options are not only offered but they’re taken seriously. They have proper protocols which ensure the safety for customers who have a gluten allergy. The food itself was incredible quality and the menu had options for everyone! Can’t say enough good things about this place and the family running it. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

First time guests. Lunch with an out of town guest. Staff was friendly and the meals was quite good all around. The dining room is attractively furnished and everything is clean. The coupons were an added extra. The hours are quite limited at least during supply chain issues and staff shortages. Parking lot is large as it is shared with several other businesses.

The food here its really good. We enjoyed our meal. We had several different things on the menu. The potatoes were so good, honestly everything we order was delicious.. the only think I may say it's not that good is the chocolate mousse, definitely expecting something more elevated like the rest of the menu. Other than that we will definitely be back.

Michelle Vargas — Google review

This restaurant lives up to it's name! Staff were friendly and helpful. We split the Chickini and salad with goat cheese and cranberry dressing then split a chocolate mousse. All of it was fresh and delicious. If you get the chance to stop there, you won't regret it! Plus they have many options for customers who need to eat gluten-free.

I got the Greek one chicken salad. Pretty good, nice and big. My friend got an omelet with steak fries which looked pretty good also. I’d go back again!

Thrilled with my recent visit to this hidden gem! The casual charm and laid-back atmosphere make it a standout in its own right. The menu boasts a delightful array of flavors, with each dish crafted to perfection. The staff's friendly and approachable nature adds a welcoming touch. A must-visit for those seeking a relaxed yet flavorsome dining experience.

Me and my husband went to Payson this weekend and we had breakfast at Delicious! Cafe, it’s this cute lil place that we found very close to our Airbnb. I had the avocado toast sandwich and let me tell you, that sandwich was amazing! 🤩 the server was so caring and nice, we loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I’m surprised this place was not packed, their food is delicious 😋 if you go to Payson, make sure to stop here, you won’t regret it 🤗we’ll be back

Food was good and the staff were friendly. The price wasn’t too crazy for the amount of food I got and I will have to say the pancakes and sausage had really good flavor to them.

A hidden culinary treasure! This small restaurant, with its intimate ambiance, boasts an extraordinary menu that left me utterly impressed. Every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity, delivering flavors that danced on my palate. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible lady owner, whose passion for food and hospitality shines through. Her warm welcome and personal touch elevated the dining experience to new heights. A heartfelt recommendation for anyone craving not just a fantastic meal, but an encounter with genuine passion and expertise. Kudos to the exceptional lady owner and her remarkable establishment!

A culinary gem! This small restaurant, run by an amazing lady owner and their kids, serves up an outstanding menu. Each dish is a flavorful masterpiece, and the personal touch from the owner makes it a must-visit. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

The ambiance was definitely The best quality. Lots of food for the price and I wish I got the available “half-meal”. The cowboy burrito was decent. The negative part of my experience was definitely that my cappuccino tasted like a chai and I could barely tell there’s coffee in it. I would come back in the future just to see if I could have a better experience. In Response to Owner:Hi! Thanks for the reply. I waited a while for my drink to cool to make sure I was tasting it correctly before I possibly complained. As I went up to the front to pay I did mention to the server that my cappuccino wasn't how I expected it to taste (I do feel a little shy knowing that this is a family business and perhaps my language was too friendly and not direct)... However I merely got an "Interesting..." as a response.I do love the ambiance and vibe! Next time I'm in town I will bring friends who would go crazy for the extensive tea menu.

Joanne Briner — Google review

I absolutely love the Delicious Cafe! As a local resident there aren't many healthy options for dining out and Delicious Cafe quickly became my favorite restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent. The jerk chicken sandwich is so tasty! I had breakfast there for the first time last weekend and had one of the best omelets ever and even the fruit cup was way above par! The service is always friendly and attentive too. You just can't beat a meal at Delicious Cafe anywhere else in town!!

Visit to Payson last weekend. Looked up healthy eats and this wonderful restaurant came up. It’s the dream place for anyone with specific eating needs. They seem to be able to cater their food to any specifications. The absolute highlight was our server Zesper. He was everything and more. He couldn’t have been more friendly and was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the restaurant.

Had a wonderful experience at Delicious Cafe! Came in for lunch and got our order to go since it was such a beautiful day. The employees were so helpful with the menu and suggested for a place to go to enjoy the outdoors. Everything sounded so good it was hard to choose just 1 sandwich each. They even have half sizes available which is a great option. They accommodate add ons and talked us through their amazing iced tea selection. They had so many to choose from you can definitely find something you'll love. They have a dog friendly patio and even offered a water bowl for our pup. It was quick wonderful service.. will definitely go back next time we're in Payson. Highly recommend!

Caitlin Bridges — Google review

This place is fantastic. We were first time visitors and were drawn in by the beautiful mural outside. The menu was refreshing and provided the perfect amount of food.I chose the blackberry creme iced tea and had seconds. For food we ordered the Montini and Chickini with Cole slaw and potato wedges. The fact that they offer a variety of sauces to enjoy with your potatoes, other than, boring old ketchup was much appreciated. The mousse was also delicious for dessert, texture was perfect. Overall it was very affordable and a memorable experience. We will be back

Dunkin' is a well-established chain that specializes in serving its own unique breakfast options and an assortment of coffee beverages. Recently, while passing through Payson on the way to Phoenix, there was a minor hiccup with an order, but the staff promptly rectified the situation by not only correcting the mistake but also enhancing it by doubling the portion of egg and meat in the sandwich. As an added gesture of goodwill, they even offered a complimentary donut.

New to area. Have not had dunkin a while. Very happy with everything

Lois De Lisle — Google review

The apple fritters were probably the best choice. The other donuts were bland with little or no flavor other than any filling. Very disappointing. The employees when taking breaks kept leaving the door open. And when the outside temps are in the upper 20's, that is uncalled for. Be observant and considerate of the customers.

Sarah Sidell — Google review

This shop was surprisingly busy, and there was a bit of a line which moved a bit slow (prob took a little under 10 min); outside, the drive-thru was equally busy. The seating area was small with some booths, and they have single restrooms; meh in terms of cleanliness).I will say though the donuts weren't too bad. I like how they weren't overly sweet and I actually found the frosting at this location to be rather creamy and tasty.

A Z — Google review

Visiting this Dunkin was a good experience. Great food and coffee. Angel (name on receipt) was very accommodating. With the exception of this location in our opinion many Dunkins aren't the same since covid, poor service and food.

Tom M — Google review

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to say this. I order through door dash quite a lot specially for breakfast or lunch during work hours. And bagels for breakfast are one of my favorites. I usually do Starbucks for the amazing coffee. But when I order a bagel from Dunkin’ and donuts it gives you the option for strawberry cream cheese instead of plain and no one else in town does through door dash. This is the 4th time i have ordered from Dunkin and donuts asking for the strawberry cream cheese even asking for x2 and I have never gotten it. It’s always been the plain. I called last time and they said they were sorry. So I tried again and still plain I don’t want an apology or refund I just want what I ordered 😞

Alecia Starkey — Google review

Girls helping me were super nice! And very busy. Only two of them and it was busy Christmas Eve. Big, clean store, but displays were empty of products. Dunkin has fun merch, too bad they were out of a bunch of stuff.

IVE been to this location a dozen or so times and my order has been correct only twice....Ive been skipped in line had my orders made completely wrong or Ive been completely forgotten about waiting in the lobby while everyone ahead of me gets served..one day they tryed to take my order and where laughing so hard in the mic I could hear myself order...Ive always loved Dunkin but these kids farting around clueless needs to be stopped..yall have lost a lifetime customer thanks for the continued poor to horrible service

Loren Smith — Google review

We purposely drove through Payson to hit Dunkin on our way to Phoenix. Somehow they lost our son’s order, ours came out ok, but they forgot his. They made it right and doubled the egg and meat on his breakfast sandwich, and offered him a free Donut as well! Way to go Dunkin!

The food was bad, the drinks were bad. However, the customer service with rainbow haired feminist girl was by far the worst I've ever seen. See my reviews, I've seen bad service. However, this rainbow haired girl would get mailed a "Worst customer service 2023" award because she earned it. She worked hard to be terrible at her job and terrible at speaking to people. She worked hard daily, I'm sure. Forgetting people's food, not caring one bit about if someone asks her for something. She earned this prestigious award. I can say if the terrible customer service at Cheesecake factor. However, this girl said, "Hold my nose ring and rainbow hair, I will provide you with the worst service. She did, and I'm proud of her because it takes a special type of person. A special type of person to live in such a beautiful place and hate life so much. Congrats, u are a true marvel. You earned the award 2023. Let's see who can beat you.

Ralph Soto — Google review

None of the rude boys that work here deserve a paycheck. Sunday morning, 3 people in a drive thru and they still can’t get an order right. They say “order when ready” but then when you order you get no response. I say “hello?” And the kid very rudely says “ ORDER WHEN READY.” I had to repeat myself multiple times only for them to still get my order wrong. We pulled around so I could go inside, but the door was locked, even though they’re “open” so I knocked and they yelled from inside “the door is locked” and then ignored me. One thing is for sure, the guy working the drive thru probably would’ve been able to hear me better if he didn’t have his headset on OVER his beanie that was covering his ears. Let me also say, this is not the first time I’ve been to this location with these same kids working and had problems.

Who doesn't love Dutch Brothers. But this is the best gesture others for two reasons. One there is never a big line like there are the ones down in Phoenix. And two. Their staff is incredible. They are so nice. So authentic and so much fun. I want to give a real big shout out to Chevy was so sweet and kind to give me some tips on managing my curly hair while we waited! Love the Dutch crew. You guys rock!

I usually avoid this place because it *always* takes so long but I decided to risk it today. I had a 30 minute lunch break and I was late coming back so I waited about 27 minutes for one drink. And the nice lady laugh at me when I mentioned the long wait.

The drinks are consistently great and worth every penny. My family broke down here in Payson for a few days, and everyone has been very kind, friendly, and sociable. This Dutch Bros. is no exception! Shout out to Adrian and Emily for their great service and making our stay here a little bit better! 🥰

Ordered a coffee with 2 extra shots. Was charged for two extra shots. Got one. The person at the window said there's a shot in it already. I told him I ordered two EXTRA shots, not 1. He said too bad, basically. Dutch bros rip everyone off this way. Rip off service. Ruined everything I thought of this coffee chain.
