Runes are items added by the Quark mod (not to be confused with Crafting Runes). When used in an Anvil with any enchanted item, it changes the cosmetic shimmer of the enchanted item to match the color of the rune.

Usage[]
End Portal[]
You can also place the runes in End Portal Frames. If you have 2 portals with the same color runes, you can teleport from one to the other. (This feature is added by Charm)
Crafting[]
You can craft Spectral Silt by using a Disintegration Tablet on a Rune.
Colors[]
There are 17 colors (rainbow included) of runes. They can be found in dungeons, or can be crafted with Cave Crystals. Here's a list of all runes:
