I moved to Missouri four years ago, and I still feel like a kid in a candy store when it comes to discovering hidden gems and unique experiences. Each month brings a new wave of events and attractions, and January is no exception.
January is bursting with events that cater to every interest. Some of the most popular things to do in St. Louis this month are the Meet Me in St. Louis Winter Festival and the St. Louis Auto Show, where you can get up close and personal with the latest and greatest models.
And if you’re craving a dose of natural beauty, the annual Orchids Show at the Missouri Botanical Gardens is a must-see.

4. Bloody Mary Brunch @ Da Bevo | January 7, 2024
Rise and shine, brunch lovers! Da Bevo invites you to their Bloody Mary Brunch Bonanza Sunday the 7th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Indulge in $7 loaded Bloody Marys with a choice of flavors: classic, mild, dill pickle, or sweet & hot. Bottomless mimosas will also be flowing freely.

5. MLK Community Celebration | January 12-15, 2024
If you haven’t visited the Missouri History Museum, then experiencing the MLK Community Celebration is your perfect chance! This celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. provides opportunities for families to participate in youth activism workshops, having meaningful dialogs around the topics of race relations and social justice. Take part in storytelling and craft workshops. Sunday afternoon is the keynote address, a musical performance, and a yoga class! This event is free to attend.

6. The St. Louis Auto Show | January 18-21, 2024
Calling all car and automobile lovers! The Annual St. Louis Auto Show is returning this January. Come check out the largest automobile exhibit and event in the area. 25 manufacturers will be displaying over 500 new cars, SUVs, trucks, and other luxury vehicles from across the globe.
While here, be sure to check out one of the drifting events taking place throughout the weekend. Tickets are $12 and children 12 and under are free.

7. DRAG BRUNCH: A DECADES PARTY | January 27, 2024
Embark on a glamorous time-travel experience at the Decades Drag Brunch, hosted in Shark Bar. Guests will be treated to a fabulous journey through iconic fashion trends from the ’20s to the ’80s, with Drag Queens delivering captivating performances. The ticket covers 2+ hours of bottomless mimosas and a full brunch buffet until the show begins at 12 pm.

8. Orchid Show | January January 27 – February 25, 2024
The Orchid Show kicks off on January 27th. This is a month-long event at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Typically the orchids are kept in a greenhouse to be cared for by the horticulture team. But during this event, the orchids are on full display and blooming! There will be over 6,000 plants from 700 different types of orchids that will be on display. Different orchid species will bloom at different times during the show! Admission to this show is included with a ticket purchase to the gardens.
